Chateau d'Aragon has been the theater of numerous conflicts, battles and jealousies.  Today it has been transformed into a superb residence with modern conveniences for family reunions, weddings and celebrations. Situated just 15 minutes from Carcassonne and 2 UNESCO historical sites, the Chateau’s proximity to beaches, mountains and local wine tastings amid the Mediterranean climate will appeal to everyone.

The chateau mostly furnished with Balinese furniture created to blend with the Chateau’s distinct Medieval character.  The living room have a 18th century wood-paneled fireplace, long dinning table seats 12, fitted grand arches glass walls overlooks the Zen like courtyard with original gargoyle and raised stone pool. A magical experience when the pool was light up at night with dinner served or BBQ at the courtyard. A full equipped kitchen consist with large gas range, oven, dish washer, washer/dryer and granite counter top as well as plenty of cabinetry space and double doorways for easy access to the courtyard. On the 1st level floor there are 3 en-suite bedrooms, all with floor to ceiling french doors leading to the front terraces, a perfect spot for breakfast and on a clear day unobstructed view onto the Pyrenees some 100 kms away and the contemplation of magnificent sunrise & sunset.
The grand master-bedroom has an elegant teak wood king-size bed, a poshboudoir and a full bathroom with windows overlook the courtyard.  
On the 2nd level floor are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 1st room, which contains two twin beds, and the 2nd room with a queen bed, share an inter-connecting full bath. The 3rd bedroom, also with a queen bed, has its own en-suite full bath.
